was cleaning out a garage and getting rid of some junk for a customer of mine. I came across this unusual tool. The handle is approx 18" long with a checkered grip, the head is adjustable by loosening the wingnut. The "extensions off the head is threaded...I am at a loss, I'm sure it has a purpose, but I dont know what it is..

Second on the cymbal stand. Probably not really considered a tool by most guys around here. I'm an audio guy and have seen a few of these...or similar stands, go through on tour.

Were there any other odds or ends with it though? Seems off to just have the boom extension but, I've found the same type of one off music stuff in heaps of 'junk'

Thanks guys, I knew someone on here would know. I didnt even think about a cymbla stand with the "checkered grip end". No there was nothing else with it as far as any other pieces are concerned. ocassionaly I come across some rather neat/unusual stuff when I do cleanouts, this was the only thing I didnt know what it was.
