What is it?

I was at a swap meet today and bought this. Not sure what it is , the seller thought it was a funnel. Another person thought it came of a horn/siren on an older type fire boat? Any ideas?
It cost me 5 bucks and is brass. It looks like the small end was soldered into something else at one time.
I figured I could use it as a funnel if nothing else.

Without more pictures, it does LOOK as if it might be a funnel with the "stop" ring around the smaller, lower portion of the cone. IMO. I think you did good for $5. Next........

A "manual" fog horn, missing the mouth piece. The "non-manual" style used what was essentially a bicycle pump for power.

The eyes look to be made for a strap, as would be on a hunting horn.

Looks like someone re-purposed this item into an automatic transmission oil funnel.

I'd say hunting horn too, rings are for a rope, missing a trumpet type mouthpiece.
