1/2 square drive and thru hole like a sliding t-handle would have.
Exactly 4" long.

I also have the same "unknown what it is used for" tool only it is the size of a standard socket. Same 1/2 drive with a hole...

Looks like something is stamped on the end of it? Could it be a lathe chuck wrench missing the cross bar?

Its just the finish. No stampings or markings on it.
