I've got two items I wonder if any of you guys know what they are or how they're used?????

The second ones might be some home made project. You can see on the bottom where the welds were ground down.
Are they stainless? Might be for a boat.

The first one is for removing lid rings on canning jars.

What is the spacing between the holes across from each other (180* off) on the second item? If it's 6.5" or 170mm, the chamfering leads me to believe it may have something to do with the hub of an 8 lug axle.
