I found this a garage sale near my cabin last weekend. I was surprised when my dad and grand father were both stumped. It has a tag that says J.S.H. &Co it is No. XRB and Cost was 2.25 for it the head of the tool appears to be brass.

It is for scaling fish. --- Among the many things that the whole sale company supplied, was camping and fishing equipment.

I have been looking through google for another fish scaler similar to it and can not find anything remotely close. Have you found anything similar to it?
