What is it?

Found this in some junk. It seems like something I have seen before, but I just can't quite place it. Any ideas?

Edit: It is about 5/8" in diameter.

its the end out of a tie rod or small ball joint puller, fits over the stud to hold on while you tighten up the puller to push them apart

Doh! Of course that is what it is. I had better check my puller set to see if I am missing a tip.

Could also be a wing jack pad adapter...
