Another modified tool. Someone did a very skilled job of grinding down the original jaws on this Vice Grip and welding on custom jaws. The pictures are blurry, but the jaws themselves are crisp and squarely cut. When closed the jaws are parallel. So, what did Mystery Man need this odd tool for badly enough to go through the effort to make such a nice one?

Thanks. It's an odd one - the teeth on the upper jaw are not all the same width. I also notice that he added a brass lock wheel to the Vice Grip's adjustment bolt so he can do repeated squeezes with precise, identical force.

On the link from lilredex, I've got the second one from the top left. Use it with an air hammer, and it's really quick.
