What is it?

Been sorting more of my late father’s garage. He retired from the Long Lines Division of AT&T. Bomb proof building and microwave towers. Later fiber optic. The buildings were full of racks and equipment. He said he spent the first half of his career installing stuff and the second half removing and scrapping.

He brought home a pair of these.

Unistrut trolley of some type ??

It looks like the trolley for a central office frame ladder.

Dad had an oak ladder from AT&T too. I’ve found some sideways rollers for feet. Didn’t know how it attached.

Those Rolling Ladders were "state of the art" in their day. They were quite secure and efficent.

Bell system

Here is one I’ve been trying to track down for a few week. It’s been in the middle of a project’s debris, as I was running screws with it. My only Bell brace, 2101-10 inch by Stanley, with a Yankee mark on the chuck. Had this since 2014 or so. I think I now have about 20, from 6’ to 14”.
