Hi All, new to this forum, been lurking gaining information for a long time. Plenty of knowledge folks here.

I picked this up at a garage sale the other day along with a few old tools that I may be able to use in the future. All I know is that it's Blue Point from Kenosha. Being a SE WI resident, I am pretty familiar with snap on and a few of the industrial brands they make.

Hopefully the pictures show up? Just blanks on my view of the post. . .

Please in lighten me.

Thanks!!

There used to be a minimum number of posts in order to be allowed to post pix. You can try loading them to an "album" under your member listing. If so then post in this thread.

I think the most common answer to "whatizzit" is "grinding wheel dresser".

Or yeah, maybe "saw set".

I'm provisionally ruling out "horse dentistry tools", but then again maybe Snap-On/Blue Point served the veterinary market at some point. I don't recall seeing one of the trucks outside a vet's office, though.

I also tried changing my avatar to a picture of the tools and that doesn't even work. Why would I not be able to add pictures, seems weird to me.

Well, it says you have 8 posts. Maybe you need 10 to post a picture. Keep trying, and we'll keep guessing.
I agree that grinding wheel dresser and sawset are the most common whatsits, but I don't think Blue Point made either, so I'm guessing spark plug gapper.

You must not be doing something right, unless GJ changed the rules.
If you click on the "insert image" icon above what you are typing, a small window opens that says, "drop image". Click on your image and drag it to the "drop image" window and leave it there. It should then automatically upload when you click on "post reply".

Yep, that's exactly what I'm doing, but it doesn't work. Someone else replied with an email address and he is going to post for me. I'll keep trying, but it hasn't worked yet.

I get that " oops" message once in awhile. Usually when I'm logging in. I have to back all the way out and try again and then it works.
I see no pictures
What device are you using? If a phone , sometimes I have to turn mine off and back on.

Let's see what happens after I get to 10. . . .?

I don't believe new members are restricted from posting pictures, at least I wasn't, but I also ran into problems my first few attempts. My problem was that the photos from my phone were too large to post; I had to shrink them 50% first.
