The clamps/taper objects seem machine tool related but the high polish parts (with the black knob) seem so out of place. I would have thought they we’re not related if they were not coupled together…

My best guess would be lighting supports for photography/cinema. Clamp onto poles to hold lights and modifiers.

If they're photography-related, the threads on one end will be either 3/8" - 16 or 1/4" - 20.
