We used them for our house water growing up. Myers and Deming were two big names. That one appears to be a Myers, then if you look close, you can see the ‘Myers’ name cast in near the bottom. They are shallow well pumps, so only good to like 30’ or so.
I like them because if you have a pond or stream, you can use a gasoline engine and pump water to for the garden or lawn. But these were not built for high speed. You want a tiny diameter pulley on the gasoline engine and run not much above idle. I like them. Wish I had an operable one like in the pic crugg65 posted.
