BTW, 7 year old thread brought back by a now banned spammer.

I'd guess in those 7 years, remote start has become more of a standard option, leaving the scraper to live under or behind the seat.

It does help. I'd much prefer to push the ice gently off with a foam brush than use force.

For me, the best ice scraper has a telescoping handle with foam grips so the shavings don't freeze my fingers.

Huskey sells a 3" stiff scraper with thread in the handle for paint poles. Got a short extendable paint pole handle and hard bristle scrub brush. Wife likes it so well I had to get another for me.
