What is this Craftsman tool?

Picked this up at a charity thrift store yesterday, along with some nice old Vaco nut drivers.

What's it for?

Without any further info like a part number, I'd tend to agree.

There's nothing else printed on the handle.

The end may have been cut off, because it's not very well finished, but the entire steel shaft is much thicker and heavier than any screwdriver I've ever seen, at least relative to the size of the handle.

I think it is a handle which was meant to turn something by inserting the shaft into a hole. The collar would keep it from going too deep.

If I'm not mistaken its a diamond wheel dresser that someone put a collar on to use as a guide.

I have a Craftsman P4 screwdriver that is a beast if you want I can take an OD measurement of the shank for comparison with a caliper.
