This odd looking critter belongs to a friend - doesn't know what make it is. It'ss a 14" but has a much larger base than most and more quill travel - 5 or 6". And and how about that overkill vise!

Pics leave something to be desired, but the quill downfeed hub and handles, as well as the quill lock, look like Craftsman. Vise looks like a Heinrich, or Heinrich knockoff.

Yes, it's a 2nd gen Emerson Craftsman from '68 or '69. Possibly a '67, but there are no '67 catalogs available to verify. It should be 15-1/2" and yes, quite fugly.
