What is this Klein screwdriver?

I did a search on google but am unable to find any info about it. What is this for and when was it made? It might seem like a silly question but I'm not exactly sure of its purpose. Was that sliding metal piece supposed to hold screws?

Is this tip supposed to look like this?

I recall having one similar with metal tongs to hold the screw to the driver tip.

That's a screwdriver for opening cable boxes pretty sure. I have a no name one some where the metal tabs should move with the slide if it isnt seized.

I thinking it is an older screw holding tool. Never seen a Klein security tool for cable boxes.

It slides but doesn't seem to do anything - seems broken whatever it did.
