What is this old vise?

Short notice! What is this thing? I know I have seen some like it on this site, but I can't find them.

Thanks cobbler, I had my doubts that it only attached with the 2 holes underneath

I've had a couple of these just like that. I may still have one. I've never seen one with any mount or markings. Just those two holes. I think Yost made some like this.
