What is this Paramo vice worth?

I'm sizing down the amount of tools in my garage and am wondering what this Paramo vice might be worth. The overall length is about 19" from the base on one end all the way to the end of the square drive adjuster at the other end. It is ridiculously heavy and in good shape other than being dirty. Thanks for any input!

That is a milling machine vise. What is the width of the jaws? Is the fixed (back jaw) in good condition? Do you have the handle for it?

Avg, I would probably say ~$100 ±, from the pics, more likely less but depending on in person condition and local market. It should have two keys on the underside to fit in the slots on a mill table.

A worn milling vise is not very valuable nor useful as a worn bench vise. What does the inside look like? As in the area where the jaw opens. Is it full of holes or the like?

No handle for it. I'll take a look on the inside since it has been a long time since I have even opened the jaws. I'll measure the jaws also and get back to you. Thanks!

If that were about 1/2 that size, and in presumably good shape I'd have been interested!

Im guessing thats an 8" mill vise and not being a Kurt, Id guess its worth ~$25-50 in good shape. IIRC Paramo is made in England and good quality, but unfortunately mill vises dont really have much value other than the Kurts....Im up to 3 others atm, cant scrap history.

The issue with these vices is accuracy in tightening.
Hold a piece of metal with the vice and check if the jaws sit up the piece. You can check it with a filler. If there is a space, the vice need new jaws.
