What is this press / vise thing?

Have the option to buy this, not sure what it is. Prev. Owner made turkey calls, not sure if that is relevant or not.

Gluing press. I've seen them used for tire patches.

PEND: i think you can clamp it to your drill press's table and it should hold down big pieces that maybe your drill press vise might not.

for less than $15 i'd buy it and use it for what i mentioned and interesting use that SS mentioned so might be worth having around.

As a child, those were used to patch tire tubes!
