what is this snap-on box

What is this thing. Looks neat to me, maybe not the paint, but a neat old snap-on box. what should a guy like me pay for something like this.

Looks like a Huot style box to me with a snap on badge. But i guess i could be wrong.

Doesn't look like a Snap On box to me. I'll take your word that it is. I wouldn't pay much for it, b/c I'd want to repaint over that horrible color it is now.

the bottom box looks like a box I saw in a shop a few weeks ago. Can't remember the name, but it was not a snap on!

I have only seen that top box once before. The guy bought it used in the late sixties. It is Snap-On. The guy would not accept my $250 offer but it was almost mint. I have the middle, no model # on it. I would value the middle at $50-75. I have seen a few different brands that look simmilar to the bottom. If it is a Snap-On, it should have embossed lettering on the front panel.

Assuming that it is all in fact Snap-On, I would say that it is from the early to mid fifties and in that condition I would pay $250-350 for it all.
