What is this thing? Air compressor?

I have of course typed in the model and serial number on google, even tried uploading a picture of it then image searching for like images but have come up with nothing. I was told it was a small "screw" air compressor motor but then they said something about hydraulic something or another. Anyways should I keep it and try and get it working? or should I just take the motor off and scrap it? Looks like it is both 120 and 220 capable.

If it is a screw style compressor I would love to have it at home, at 11 of our shops we have big screw compressors and they are awesome. This would be awesome for my condo garage, as the noise from even a pancake compressor is way to loud. I have one of the california compressors right now and it is nice and quite but you can forget about running anything that needs some power.

Looks like a cooler compressor to me. Probably from a long box drink box. Of course I have been wrong before. lol

Defiantly a compressor, its only 230 volt the 115/230/460 rating is for the thermostat contacts if equipped. Looks to have an aftercooler and a dryer of some sort.. fire her up and post the results

So made a few calls and there is a small chance it is an Alup compressor, it could the model that came before the Combi that is made now by ALMIG. I also learned that ALMIG is ALup Made In Germany!

Sent off some pictures and waiting to hear back.
