What is this thing?

Angled non-ratcheting head that only fits the 3 special sockets that store in the handle. Looks well-used whatever the heck it is!

Got the same thing in an old wooden toolbox. Dad bought it on neighbors farm sale in 1967.
That old toolbox is sort of a time capsule, with all the tools the old boy had in it.

Likely a tool from a factory or the military. They were made with oddball drive sizes to keep people from stealing them since there were no sockets commercially available that would fit them.

Since its self contained, I would hazard to guess that it was part of a tool kit in a vehicle or was intended to stay with a particular machine to be used to make routine adjustments.

The angle speaks more to access than to torque, which makes me lean more towards farm equipment than military.

Thanks guys. I was thinking it was probably something machine tool related as well. I'll keep it around just because it's kind of cool and a conversation piece.
