Spotted this thing on CL and wondering what it is. Looks like some kind of oven as much as anything. Thoughts?

Looks like a small wood burning kitchen stove that had been modified, both the flat top and the bottom where the legs should go.

Need to see the top...but it is an old oven.

It would be interesting to know of the rollers were original. If so, then it might be a metal treating oven? In which case it needs a good air inlet as well.

To know for sure, need to see the top

That was my thought... the door on the left controls the air, and...

Well, roll it on outta there, let's see what you got.

Not mine. Spotted it, unsure what it was, will see it in person tomorrow. I'll try to get a pic of the top.

Thanks!

The frame under it looks to be made of the older "Dexion" metal framing you cut to size with a special foot operated shear.

Here are a couple of pics of the stove. It was at an estate sale that started today. Turns out it's a Coleman stove. I tried to get a pic of the model # and such but it didn't turn out. Blew up one of the other pics but can't read the model #. They wanted $40 for it. Just about the most expensive item in the workshop.

I didn't buy it. Got no room and would never use it. But I think it's cool as H-E-double hockey sticks. I didn't ask what fuel is uses. The children of the deceased parents were running the estate sale. The children were in the 60s and trustworthy. They said they actually got it fired up prior to the estate sale.

Doesn't it say Coleman on the inside of the door in the 3rd picture?
