What is this thing?

I got a handful of these as part of a box of bolts. Does anyone know what it’s called or used for? Maybe a bar clamp of some sort?

Beam clamp. Use to clamp to the structure of a building to hang plumbing, ductwork, HVAC equipment and other stuff with threaded rod
