I have had this tool for over twenty years. And I don't know it's formal name!
I have used it with a 1/2" breaker bar as a ratcheting mechanism to remove lugs on my cars. It worked great when I took it with me to Iraq a few years ago when I was in a gun truck unit. It is a Craftsman, it has a -v- on it but no numbers.
The tool is 1/2" drive male and female and it ratchets. I have used it with my CDI torque wrench to tighten my axel nuts on my VW bug back in the day.
