What is this tool? (Mathieson cast steel?)

Hard to read but I think one side says Warranted Cast Steel and other side has a hallmark and says Mathieson. Kind of looks like a little chisel.

Looks like it would have had a wooden handle of some sort.

The metal part of a tanged chisel. Handle has a hole to accommodate the part right of the bolster. Mathieson is a good maker.
