What is this tool? (socket-wrench related)

Could anybody tell me exactly what this is, and where I might find more of them? Or recomend a better tool to accomplish what it does?

They're pretty much known as an L handle. Some old ones may be found on the used marked.

Not sure what to recommend for brand new.

Is that not graph paper it's sitting on? The fact it's slightly out of focus also leads me to believe it's pretty small. I could be wrong.

Leave the female end on... then you can use another cheapo extension as a cheater with it

So is that a 1/4" drive? If that's 3/8" graph paper then that makes it look like a 1/4" drive. Idk
