My guess is you fill it with gun grease and put it onto a grease zerk and hit the end with a hammer, that forces the grease into the zerk. Used on fittings that won't take grease by normal methods.
Just my guess!

It looks like a tampon inserter. Is it for sale? I know a few guys at my shop sure could use one.

Looks like it may have been a universal clutch alignment tool. You are missing the center piece.

I believe you have a piston pin installer for Model A and B Fords or the slightly different sized on for about '32-34 Ford V-8's.
These had originally piston pins locked in by a single alip at the center...clip was put into the rod, then that tool was put through the piston pin and slid into place, with the pointy end getting it though the circlip.
Now pretty much obsolete, as all available replacement pistons now use 2 clips place at the ends in the piston.

Bruce got it right. They made them into the 40's at least, then switched to the S-9026 I believe. You would assemble the tool through the piston pin and hammer (carefully) the pin in or out.

Aha! It unscrews to take your choice of forged steel "tickler" in the center!
The tickler variants were mostly stamped "not guar" by Snap-on due to their delicate parts.
