That poor vise has had a hard life. It's been beat on, welded, poorly "repaired" and as a final insult, someone took a wheel grinder to it.

As noted, Massey Vise Co.

Yea. Pretty dang rough for sure. The 4" Wilton and the 9" WW vise were much more cherry. THis is nice as it's pre-removable jaws and non swivel base, but yea, it's pretty much just a chunk of metal at this point! Not sure if I have the skills or tools to make it look much better.

If it is still usable, it looks like a good candidate for use on a welding table. That way it won't matter if it gets a little hot, gets bumped with a grinder, or ends up with some "extra" metal on it. :thumbup:

I don't weld since my shop is mostly woodworking.. I think I might just list this thing for like $120 and see what happens.
