My son can get extra credit in his high school engineering class if he can identify this tool. Does anyone have any ideas about what it is?
Just sayin'
Does he know any firemen?
OK, that sounds plausible. What is it used for?Does he know any firemen?

He thinks it is some kind of pin spanner wrench. He originally thought it was some kind of hydrant wrench, but he has not been able to find a similar image. The thing that is confusing is that there are 3 hole for 3 pins. Most spanner wrenches seem to be set up for 2 pins.Haha... I don't think anyone is going to give the answer to you directly.![]()
What does your son think it is???
The only number on it is "5". I don't think that is a part number. He has a name and part No.
