That brand was affiliated with Bonney which had that same shape which is said to grab better than the sharp point style.
Some companies such as Caterpillar and International Harvester had tools made by a major tool company for their workers or customers with the name of the truck or tractor brand on it.
Those I believe are very desirable as far as 12 point style flare nut wrenches go. Of course not all 12 points are there because of the opening for slipping over the tube.

Wakefield, thanks for the insight on the brand!

CNG, it was a gift from uncle as he knows I'm a MOPAR nut so it isn't going anywhere! I agree it's a very interesting piece, just trying to learn about this "Master tech award" business

Kelsey-Hayes was the inventor of the lobular 12 point box end, also now know as Flank Drive, TorquePlus, Wright Drive, etc. First used with their ratcheting cam-loc wrenches for use with air fittings on Kelsey-Hayes' air brakes.

In the early 1960's Kelsey-Hayes starting buying tool companies; Utica, Herbrand, and Bonney. When Bonney became the K-H flagship tool company, they incorporated the Loc-Rite design into their wrenches. The Lobular design would we used on all Bonney tools, as well as Deere and I believe IH wrenches and sockets (along with Mopar). I have yet to see a Matco wrench with the Lobular design, as they seem to have all been made with the conventional box end.

Appears to be a Bonney as stated above. I think kelsey-hayes owned Bonney for a while or vice-versa

Most likely part of a set? Possibly given to Mopar dealership mechanics when they achieved master tech status?? Someone please correct me if I wrong.

edit: bob beat me to it

Cool wrench.
A co-worker of mine works at a Chrysler dealer as well. I've asked him about these master tech tools before, and according to him they were given out for particiption in little programs that Chrysler would periodically offer. I believe there was a test involved.

This one happens to be of the Bonney variety . Chrysler gave out alot of gold plated Bonney sets, also some Easco products, Snap On and others throughout the years for the MTSC award.
