What is THIS ?

I found it stuck to the bottom of a customers car. Its magnetic. The hoop is too big to hold a Mag-Light.
Nothing on there appears to be broken.

I fully understand this might not be a tool, but I have no clue what it could be.

Anyone have an educated guess?

I have an LED pocket light(Larry light I think) that has a swiveling pocket hook with a magnet in it just like that one. Could be what's left of one.

My guess is that it is what that is left of a after market cruse control pick up.

It might just be random junk that got kicked up and stuck to the bottom of the car.

If the magnet is strong enough you could use it to hang your safety glasses on the outside of your tool box. Or thimble size cup of coffee. Or for an emergency cigar.

Not in that condition at least. The hole is bigger than a Mag-Light.
