I was at a local flea mkt. / swap meet yesterday when I found this Mac p34 punch in a box marked .50 each.Of course for .50 I bought it.My question is what is this type of punch used for?Looks to me it some sort of flaring or countersink tool.Anyway, does anyone know for sure what it's meant for?

It is a starter punch it is used to make a hole for a sheet metal screw. It
makes a hole that is counter sunk and has a short area to cut threads in.
