This came with a bundle of tools that I purchased from an estate. It appears to be stainless steel and has very sharp edges on each end. Could it be a scraper or finishing tool...? Anyone know what the actual use or purpose is...???

Thx in advance...

It is an ornamental tool. Used a lot in stucco and dryvit work. I have also seen caulkers using them. They can also be ground to whatever shape you may need.

And can also be used by painters (artists) to mix their colors as they paint.

Over here they are known as "plasterers small tool" or just small tool if you are talking to any one in the mud trades.
I like them for working wood filler on window or furniture jobs
