I happen to like it on my new box

Same here, it's 2nd nature now. I love it way more then my craftsman pro which you just pull on, i found i always had to give such a shove to get the damn thing to go back in and everything that was not glued down was always at the back of the drawer :headscrat

My dealer had the prototype on his truck a while back, it looked insanely well built, and with the way the drawers and grips and such are flush with the sides it's a GREAT looking box in real. The paint on it was a little more bedlinerish in feel compared to the normal powder coating on most of their boxes, it was awesome.
Now if they called it anything but "EPIQ" I might have looked at it :lol_hitti

Call it a KERP-Series. ;)

I want one, they're freakin' awesome boxes. 84" without the top locker and just the stainless top. If only they did a matching top and side lockers. :(

my snap on guy had one and already sold it. But he had one in truck that stopped my work before went to other shop to delivery it. I did look around and my snap on guy said trade in my KRL1203 and KRL1003 for that Eqip.. i told him no thanks as two giant boxes for one bottom box... i dont think so... so i keep look around and buy what i need tools..

Yeah, i know what you mean. Nice box and all but it's just not the same as a good top/bottom combo. I'm not a fan of having just a bottom box, and those Epiq boxes are real pricey.

I asked about trading in my box for a new KRL (72" long, 29" deep) and was told if i bought top and bottom i'd get about £4,000-worth for trade in. I paid £795 for my box but it has too much sentimental value to let it go. :(

I just went out to the garage and found that my top box has both Lock N Roll and detents. Never noticed before. One drawer is only Lock N Roll, but i recently replaced the slide on it. Is this unusual? I really like it, best of both worlds for me. :)
