Depends how much. a good compressor a zip gun and a long 3/4" flat chisel will work great on a small job. run a hose and keep things soaking wet! beer ... breaks ... and loud rock music help.

Our Installation Dept uses 4” hand grinders to carefully clean out cracks.

We then recommend filling with something g like our Crack Repair Epoxy Putty which is stronger than concrete.

I have often used old screwdrivers. Once you get it into the crack about 1/2" then hammer sideways at the tip while holding the handle straight up. Wider cracks get the chisels.

I just finished over 200 lineal ft. with a Ryobi wet saw and 4" blade, worked great. Now fill the cracks and apply finish.
Rustoleum concrete epoxy or Sherwin Williams Crete Shield?

Bosch chipping gun and a 3" chisel. Just drop a corner in the crack and run it angled both directions and you can literally walk behind it while blowing that out. You'll need to do it that way at each side of the crack.

You don't need to go deep, just get to clean concrete on both sides. And ya, I've a few thousand hours of prepping floors under my belt for commercial applications.
