Seems like Snap On is going to be the most used brand of tool on here.

My favorite tool is a hammer as it can take a lot of frustration out beating on something.

My 5249 Proto ratchet is the most used in my box. After a few decades of use, the gear is like a wobble joint.. but she still hasn't skipped.

I don't know if this is cheating, but my favorite and most used tool is a multi-tool. Currently that would be my Victorinox SwissTool RS.

I have it on me at all times, so when I need to do a repair, or work on something, it's the first thing I go for.

I can't count the number of times it has bailed me out of unexpected situations, or how many trips it has saved my lazy **** to my 'real' tools.

I have several different brands and models, and I change up which one I carry depending on where I'm going.

4lb "engineers hammer" it is pretty much my go-to hammer and used multiple times a day. Rather than wildly thrashing an undersized ball been, gentle controlled taps seem much safer. If that doesn't do the trick, I can wind up for full blows. Often that is not enough, and the next size up for me is the 16lb'er. Usually in a nearly full-blow mode.

The torch saves wear and tear quite often.

Snap on prybars just feel sooooooooo nice. Some bastage just "stole" my prized 18" one. By far my most used one, my 8" and 24" being the next most used. 12" still being brand new I think.

My milwaukee m12 impactor. I don't use screw drivers hardly ever and have all but eliminated most 1/4" ratchet needs. Lots of use on 7/16-1/2" bolts.

ir2115timax impact. My 3/8 sockets range up to 1" and I regularly use the 15/16 and 1" sockets on rusty fasteners. On the other hand, there are some 1/2" 12pt fasteners that it doesn't have the nuts to remove. Go figure.

My channellock rebranded 15" adjustable wrench. COO spain or not, best adjustables I have put my hands on. Haven't met an american wrench that comfortable ever. Solid steel no ergo grips, just plain comfort when bearing down on "large" (compared to you home owner and car guys) fittings.

Ideal auto strippers. Used daily. Fantastic. Used in conjunction with 8" knipex cutters.

24" autozone breaker bar. Fantastic, even better than HF unit. Much better than any US alternative I have owned.

Sunex/GP impact sockets. I don't need to explain.

I am completely addicted to my Milwaukee M12 impact gun. I bought a couple of accessory kits with drill bits and drivers, and a nice 1/4" GearWrench socket set. I grab it almost every time I am in the shop, and I am not even a pro wrencher!

I've had mine for about a year, used daily. It doesn't like most fasteners over 1/2", and now and then I need to break something free by hand. It is also extremely ugly, coated in some kind of grease and grime that alcohol won't remove.

That said, it has also fell from 15ft numerous times, down to the concrete. Hammering on all sorts of hose clamps, lock nuts, torx, phillips, and robertson screws.

If it died next year, I might not even warranty it out, and wouldn't squawk about paying another $99.

Klein wire stripper, the blue one. Mine is about 15 years old, Don't know if the new ones are as good. Love the thing.

BFH, especially after working on lots of mid-80s 4x4 Chevy trucks. A two-ton bottle jack can also be useful on suspension hardware.
