Its time to purchase the lights for my 24x48 garage (2 24x24 garages with a 12 opening between the two)
I am thinking of going with 8 (2 rows of qty 4) in each section for 16 total lights I was looking at T8 32 watt 8ft long with 4 4ft bulbs and reflectors (bulbs in the open) with 5000k bulbs (6500k seem to have a blue tint to them). each qty of 4 will be on its own switch so i can turn off the front row of lights in each section of the garage when the garage door is open (two 18x8 garage doors)
One half of the garage is for me to build my hotrod and the other for parking the daily driver and general maintenance occassionally.
I am looking at the wrong lights or do you recommend something else like a 4 Ft. Commercial Wraparound Lens 4-Bulb 32 Watt T8 Fluorescent Fixture (like you can get at Home Depot). If I go with 4 footers I will have to go with more of them to get equal brightness
I have read alot of post and I am not sure which style of T8's are being used most (I have determined I do not want to run 8 ft long bulbs as I have heard they use more power and take longer to light up and harder to dispose of)
appreciate all your input..
