what is your recommend for 3/4dr impact sockets?

After i bought Matco MT1771 3/4dr impact wrench, i have craftsman SAE complete set but it is chrome socket which cant use on impact.... so what is your recommend for impact sockets???

I did look at Wholesale tools store that next to my work, they have a lot of S-K 3/4dr impact sockets but the S-K have thicker wall which cause me feel like it might not work out...

I am thinking of getting a set of hf 3/4 to use with my 1 inch ratchet and 3/4 breaker bar... not somethin I would use enough to spend more than a 100 on....

I have a found that Ozat makes really great quality impact sockets that are reasonably priced. In fact I ordered a 24 mm socket, 14 mm hex head, and a 3/4" female to 1/2" male adapter today. Ozat is made in Israel.

I think a distributor could handle that. I believe the place I bought my stuff from dealt with distributor in Pa.

They are pretty heavy duty in fact they make socket that have square drive larger than 3". Of course the really big sockets are expensive.

I've had princess auto 3/4 impact sockets for years now,never broke any even when using my 1" impact and an adapter with them.I have an Ingersol Rand Titanium 1" gun,if that didn't kill any your 3/4" should be fine.When you start getting into larger sizes is when cheaper tools still work,they can add enough meat to the tool to make it stand up to abuse.I use them professionally on heavy trucks so they get more than occaisional use.

All of those have a warranty from anywhere they are sold but any tool company I ever bought anything from if I had any trouble with broken stuff and no dealer still in my area I just pack it and ship it and a new shuff shows up.

Since you don't need them much buy a set of HF for now and watch Ebay and pawn shops for Wright or Proto or Williams or Armstrong sockets and buy when the price is right.

I have a set of Proto. I think for the quality they are reasonably priced. As someone else mentioned though, I would check out Grey Pneumatic. They are an affordable, quality socket from my experience and I believe they have a lifetime warranty. Also if you are worried about thickness, many companies make 3/4" dr. thinwall sockets but they are usually 12 point.

Mine are Bonney, but for something a bit more modern, I have some Matco/Wrights that have been fine. I believe they are Wright, as they were the supplier for Matco sockets for years. I have seen some cheapies last alright, but they weren't used much. If it wasn't for impact, you could get good old US made chrome sockets at most any swap meet for a song. Impacts are less common to see hanging around in an old box for $1 each. I just never trusted imports on impacts as much. I have seen the Asian impact sockets last well, and I have seen them disintegrate into metal dust. Good luck.
