7" irwin groove lock pliers... probly not "most" used i.e. 10mm socket. but those little things do everything, i keep a decent number of pliers handy but the irwins are always first out of the drawer.

Sounds crazy but...the motorcycle lift. See link below. Seems like no matter what I'm up to, the lift comes up and gets used for a workbench. Unless I'm actually working on a bike, novel concept. 4 out of 5 times it's for something else, sawing, painting, assembling, etc. Variable height, nice and strudy.

Yep #2 Phillips for sure.

I would lay big $ though that I use a #10 Torx driver more than all of the rest of you combined. I'm on about my third one now.

What are you doing? Building cabinets all day?

I would say my greatest tool and most heavily used is my phone (galaxy note 2)
Looking up pics of how tos.. getting on gj.. CL.. its even got a flashlight for gods sake..
Plus its greatest feature is the abilty to Google. .. ;)

But if we're talking actual tools I'm going to say my sheffield folding razor blade knife.. fits percectly in that little right side jean pocket that nothing else fits in.. I swear it's in and out 15 times a day.. home work or play.. always with me.

3/8 ratchet with a 13mm on it. I use the air ratchet whenever possible too. After working on cooling systems extensively, I've learned to really appreciate a hook and pick set

My Leatherman - I had the original PST until too many tools were damaged or broken - they sent me a Wave in replacement. It is part of my EDC - wiring, wrenching, etc. can almost always be done with it.

I like to put on my tool belt. I joke that I can't even get a bowel movement going before I put on my tool belt.

On the right I have my wonder bar and several pencil and pens and a note pad. I hang a hammer on the right when I want to. I also hang my drill or impact driver on the right.

On the left I have my speed square and pouches for nails or screws.

In the middle I have my tape measure and I will sometimes take it out and put screws or nails in there as well.

In my coat in the winter I have my sunglasses and gloves and cell phone and I even carry a spare car key and shoe horn. My hat is either on my head or in the sleeve. I have my credit car in there as well.

But my most used tool must be my handkerchief.

My most used tool would be my Snappy CT561, 7.2v 3/8 impact gun. It sits on the top shelf of my tool chest with a semi deep 10mm socket on it and gets used all the time for removing engine covers, undertrays, oil pans etc... Love that thing.

My left handed metric crescent wrench. I always told students, most important tools were 1. Your Brain 2. Your Eyes 3. Your Hands. Seriously, My favorite tool is either My Snap On Reversible Screwdriver or Ratcheting Screwdriver.

OK., leaving aside the Biologic "tools" this is my most used tool. I've been carrying this thing for probably 15 years, or so. single LED, single AA, and I carry it in my pocket every waking hour unless I loan to to someone temporally.
I started carrying it as I was responsible for response during power outages, and had to get to places in the dark at times.

It's become invaluable, for many purposes, dark nook and crannies under the hood, walking back to my rig in the woods after dark.... and I even use it when I get up early and need to get from the MBR to the rest of the house in the dark, as I don't see the need top turn in lights every step of the way until I get to where I'm actually going to be doing something. (The garage is on two automatic motion/heat sensing switches for the lights, and once in a while a switch decides I'm not there... So also a good thing to have a light in my pocket..)

Kobalt folding utility knife.

If you haven't tried one of these, don't sell it short. Most of the Kobalt stuff isn't a favorite on GJ, but this one should be. Solid locking mechanism and blade storage to boot.

I'm with a lot of the other guys. Leatherman Wave! I've also carried a Leatherman since they 1st came out and use it multiple times a day. Like someone said earlier, it's not great at anything but good for everything. If you've never carried one I would highly reccomend you give it a try.

I'm tempted to get one of these. It's a little annoying having to unscrew the body of my handle to flip the little blade into position every time I want to use it.
