This was my Granddads, my guess is it's from the 1930s maybe. Marked from 1.0 to 6.5 in 0.1 increments. It's about 9" x 4".

Ideally, that should have a full set of drill bits in it ready for use. Easy to find the size you are after. I have a similar circular one.

First I thought it an index for number drills, but then I noticed the decimal points
