What Makes You Think I'd Want THAT Tool?

So my brother forwards this email to me. He says I may be interested.
I reply, "What makes you think I'd want that tool?" I like tools as much as the next guy, but I don't think they had me in mind when designing this tool... or the commercial.

It does seem really lame, but i guess if it could hold up to professional use may not be bad for computer repairmen or something.

More junk. I'm suprised it isnt pink (no offense to women who use REAL tools). When you drop and step on the revolver, it'll sit in your kitchen junk drawer with the butter knife with the broken tip and the petrified bottle of crazy glue.

It would be a whole lot funnier if it wasn't actually true. A couple Christmases ago, when she saw I was getting interested in tools, she DID buy me a cheap Taiwanese one!:scared:

I put it in the tool bag in HER car. Now she can fix any problem she has on the road!:):bounce::)

Milwaukee makes a great little 3.5 vold screwdriver
They are good for working on computers, electonics and other small things. When taking apart small toys, or working on model railroads etc. These small litte power drivers can be very useful.

Not everything small is junk. You guys think comercial use. You forget there are more people doing some great work in model making that there are professional mechanics.

Besides I use mine when I am installing all the wall plates when I am done building or repainting a house. They drive the plate screws fast and it is so light you don't know you are holding a little driver.

There is a place for everthing.

I have my wife trained. Don't buy me tools. She know better. I don't want any presents. Even the cloths I get are ugly. The best present I have ever gotten is the one that did not happen. I am never happy with anything people get me. It is never what I want or would buy. That really is the truth.

I question the revolver thing, can the bits be changed or can you use an extension?

But I agree there is a use for smaller power tools, I repair computers and printers for a living and I use a Craftsman 4v power driver, the lack of real power is actually a plus when driving screws for laptops and such. It also is light and has good battery life, with 2 speeds and a selectable clutch.

I love it.

Comes with 2 swappable 6-bit cartridges.

Maybe can use an extension if you don't swap bits.

The Bionic Wrench. My mother got me that 2 years ago for x-mas. It's in my box, but haven't used it once. Wait, it DID hold papers from blowing away a couple times!

My wife found me a tool to replace all the tools I have in my roller, so I'm giving all my tools away. It's this one:

This is actually my tool of choice for doing oil changes. Pick up one wrench and never have to walk back to the box for different size drain plugs.

Other than that, it's utterly useless.
