What material to replace expansion joints on incline?

I have a driveway with a steep incline that boarders my house. The tar-felt that was used when the driveway was poured has deteriorated.

What material/product should I use to replace the tar-felt?

I was thinking of using self leveling caulk (Sikaflex), but I have a feeling it won't work on such an incline.

I've also seen cork expansion joints around the city on sidewalks etc, would that be better?

I guess there are either no concrete pros here or everyone else is lucky enough to have a semi-level driveway.

Sika makes a non self leveling that is very durable. Not sure if they sell it at Home Depot. We buy it through our supplier, they come in sausage tubes and use a special gun.

Sounds good, my parents have a concrete guy that worked on their pool deck...he may be able to get that and/or have the gun.
