Can anyone tell me where to find the model number on this Craftsman tool box? Is there only one model like this or are there different versions that are heavier, different slides, etc, but all look the same at first glance?

That is a 'homeowner' box.
They were made for about 30 years looking mostly like that.
The bottom compartment is a nuisance to use as the little door sticks and binds if you are in a hurry.

The very newest have less metal, a lot less.
From the 80's through the late 90's they were all pretty much the same.
Friction slides only.

None are very valuable. Last one I sold I got 35 dollars for it.

It looked precisely like the one in the picture, was from late 80's, still shiny.

They were not part of the home owner line, that line is gray & black and before that they were all red and all of them have lock bars you have to use to lock them with a padlock.

I used the 'homeowner' label for the box, not the exact Sears line.
I've owned a half dozen of those boxes with various part numbers and sold as various 'lines' but they were all functionally the same box. You could swap drawers, etc. They were sold in black, red, three variants of 2 tone, and a very odd gray color.
They are not collectible, they are not desirable and they sell for about 25-90 depending on area in the used market.
They were all 26.75 by 18 by roughly 34.75 inches.

There are new versions that are only 16 inches deep and they are even lower grade.

I've had this box for about 15 years. I was looking for another one but wanted to make sure that the one I found on craigslist exactly matched the one I have. I didn't know if they were all physically the same size and layout.
