What *OIL* does Snap On use in their ratchets?

Hey, I have an FL72 and an F72 1/4 ratchet. One is short handle and one is long handle. The short handle one is way smoother. I cracked them both open and noticed they actually both have oil in them. I tried greasing the FL72 with PTFE grease and it's still noticeably less smooth than the F72. The F72 was loaded pretty heavily with oil. I'm thinking maybe I should remove the grease and load the FL72 up with oil since it came from the factory that way. What oil does Snap On use? Thanks!

Thank you!! I had thought that Super Lube was very similar to the Mastercraft XG-8 PTFE stuff I put in, but that does look different. Thanks again.

Maybe you could clean out all the lube, pack the offender with _white_ rubbing compound. Cycle the wrench back and forth 100x _then_ clean completely (!) and repack with lube.

Warranty it, for the price they should be good straight from the factory.

Often a high amount of back drag is cause by the spring being slightly too long, and putting the pawls under unnecessary pressure.
