What products are surprised HF doesn't offer?

As the title says. What's some products or tools your surprised that Harbor Freight doesn't offer or haven't brought out yet? What do you think will be coming in the future.

For me I'm not sure why they haven't really expanded their wrench and socket coverage better. I also really figured they would have an engine drive welder in the lineup also.

Parts for everything else they sell.
EX: Little black tabs that go in the drawer edges to hold the labels in place.
Matched tool chest locks.
Replacement hardware for kits like the threaded nut insert tool like a rivet gun.

I especially like that this one is cantilevered out. A lot of the China clones have the post much closer to the center.

Indexable pry bars. I just posted the ones I bought on eBay in the post a pic thread. I wanted to see how the price compared to the cheap ones, so I look at HF and didn’t see any offerings. That surprised me.

Automotive fluids like oil, antifreeze, ATF, brake fluid. They carry jacks, drain pans, creepers, ramps. Maybe make it a one-stop shop for your car's PM needs.

Like others have said, sockets and wrenches as singles would be nice. I had to go buy a 13mm socket and HF doesn't have them. Would've been convenient because I was at my friend's house helping him repair his car, and HF is 1/4 mile away. I had to drive 3 miles to an Autozone to get the socket.

That would help with warranty replacements. You notice all the semi-incomplete sets over in the clearance section where the manager probably pulled a single item out of for a warranty replacement.

For a short while, their website listed Yukon branded garage cabinets...they looked real nice. Floor cabinets, wall cabinets, etc.

But upon further review...they're no longer listed on the website...which is unfortunate b/c not only did they look good, but they were welded construction and there were many options.

Some stores still have the Yokon displays out. I am pretty sure they will release the cabinet line in the next few months from what I hear. Hopefully at a lower price point than the original test market.

I would like to see the return of more machine shop stuff. Like the old Central Machine 12X36 lathe. Maybe a 14x40 as well. Not for me personally but it could help inspire some new machinist in the good old USA. Wouldn’t hurt to see 2 or 3 different mills in the store. A $4995 Bridgeport clone would be interesting.

A small line of Honda Z50 clones and ATC70’s. Using original Honda motor castings pulled from the dumpster in Japan. $495 for the Z50. $595 for the ATC 70. First time I will actually purchase the $39.95 replacement warranty...

Besides open-stock singles, I’m surprised that they don’t offer 1/4” and 3/8” drive flex sockets. Those would be a good seller.

I’m happy to see the Icon brand tools that are coming as well as other names. There’s something about buying Pittsburgh brand tools that makes me feel dirty and cheap... like a ****** on meth.

This is probably due to permitting issues on a city by city basis.

I wish they sold the smallest ball pein hammer from 3pc set by itself. they sell all kinds of crappy claw hammers and dead blows but I use the small ball pein all the time to get bolts out the monkeys break off in stuff at work.

Those were apparently pulled due to demand. They are trying to fill orders due to the overwhelming number of people interested.

Who knows if that is true, but that was the rumor. I hope they come back.

72 '' top box for the 72'' lower. seems like this would sell well. some people have also said they should have a hutch for the 72''.

A half-assed to three quarter-assed anvil would sell like crazy, something in the 100 lb range that would sell for much less than the price of a real vintage anvil, but could actually withstand some forging for a while until a guy could buy a real vintage anvil.

(as compared to the 1/20 th assed anvil they have now)
(to recap my anvil *** rating schema, vintage real anvil equals one ***, current HF anvil is 1/20th of an ***, desired HF anvil is .5 to .75 assed)

The “girls” at my HF are the kind that don’t bother to remove the Marlboro from their lips before telling the State Trooper to kiss their ***. No thanks.
