I think what Hafen Kafer is saying is that he thinks it's good stuff... The English language has words to describe good things, and in some circles **** is considered one of those words. I.e. "This is the ****!".

These are very good twist drills. It's also a very good price.

PTD is the bomb-diggity super mega awesome. Norseman is scam for DIY'ers who don't know any better, like the AutoMD they sell on infomercials to fix all your automotive problems.

I have this exact set. You'd be hard pressed to find a better quality set.

Anyone use the newer PTD bits that are made in Brazil now? As far as I know, they are no longer US made and recently changed over. Brazilian bits still high quality?

We've been getting them at work for a couple months. I was leery at first, so I grabbed some in common sizes and put them in my toolbox, so I'd be using the same drills over and over. They have been just fine, several have drilled over a hundred holes.

Thank you for your post. That's great feedback.

Stuey, you found that $199 set through an MSC flyer? (I'll have to spend more time studying the Enco emails I get....)

Precision bits are pretty good, I ordered quite a few individual sizes from Amazon a while back.

If you check out MSC and Enco's sales flyers you can sometimes snag other top-brand sets for even lower prices.

Back in July I purchased a 115pc Triumph set (http://www.mscdirect.com/product/01730555?rItem=01730555) For $199.

I believe so. Looked up invoice and it showed $199. Plus had prefixed part number. With Enco, if something is on sale, you can tell from product page. With MSC, if it's on sale in a monthly promo flyer, you need the specific SKU, which generally is 2 letters. I don't think it was a %-off discount, because $199 is too exact. Might have been metalworking flyer.

I have been meaning to ask this question for sometime... What is a really good industrial grade brand drill bit. I'm talking if you used bits 20-30 times a day to drill stainless steel or aluminum.
