It looks a lot like the Sears Companion line or a Harbor Freight one. Usually they are stamped right into the metal handle.

Looks to be a Stanley-produced Taiwan ratchet to me - from the same family as the Craftsman tri-wings...

Is that a built-in finger speeder on the top?

yes it does have a build in finger speeder ... i didn't know what brand it was but i got it today for $1 and a master craft 3/8 for $1

This is exactly what I thought as well. It looks identical to my Taiwan made Stanley works Craftsman ratchets.

You're in Canada, I presume?

Stanley made those things under many names - both for their own brands and for "house"' brands. Yours probably came in some off-brand set...

Odd that a Mastercraft made it down there!

There used to be a US company called MasterCraft, but they were forced to change their name a few years back; wonder if it's one of their tools?
