Hi guys and gals,

I'm looking for a good pair of safety glasses... I need something that can be worn 8 hours or so, and I need it to fit over my dioptric glasses...

I looked at some UVEX stuff... was also considering something from Revision Eyewear (Sawfly with RX carrier) or ESS (ICE with RX carrier)...

What would you recommend?

No sure about brand but you might want to consider getting prescription safety glasses. A lot less hassle and less fogging when you get into that really tough job where you are sweating and straining to get that darn bolt loose...

I got metal in my eye while wearing safety glasses. The eye doctor had to dig around in my eyeball with a needle because I waited a week before I went to him. That was the worst, I now will only use goggles.

I have uvex goggles and a couple of dewalt branded safety glasses. The pair I still like the best came with my cordless brad nailer.

I'd recommend the UVEX Stealth or Radians Cloak (rebranded as Dewalt Concealer). I also sent you a PM.

You could also try some cat **** if fogginess is an issue.

Thanks Stuey for the PM,

I will be using the glasses as general protection, so I want to be able to wear them all day without problems...

The Radians look awesome for the price...

Don't go cheap.
I went RX Safety specs.24/7/365 Since work, school, and EMS field call for them(sooner or later for all cases, not for some runs). I can't beat them join them thought. Plus, you got to pratice safe looking at all times.
