952 is a 15pc and a good value, next step up is the 18pc but it costs about $60 more. Usually with a standard set of wrenches (non ratcheting) I like to cover all sizes up to as high as possible, then with my ratcheting set it's not as important.

Can someone tell me the length of a wright grip wrench? 17mm preferably. Just trying to figure out how long these are compared to a few other brands.

The 17 mm. Wright is just about 9" from a tip of the open end to the extreme of the box end ring. Maybe a mm. more.
Most of my Wright are slightly longer than Craftsman "raised panel" of the same wrenching size. They are not as long as the standard Snap On combination wrenches but might be slightly thicker or heavier.

The Snap On 17 mm. OSHM170B is just about a mm. short of 10" measured the same way.(Household cheap tape measure) So not quite a whole inch longer than the Wright-but that is a 6 point box end/open end combo. The Wright is in 12 point combo.

Thanks for that, my Matco is 8.75in and my Craftsman RP I got a little over 8.25in. It looks like these Wrights are slightly longer but not drastic.

That is interesting about your snap on 6pt, a whole inch longer than a Wright 9in? I wonder if 12pt Snap-On is shorter? Someone confirm?

Ok so I guess the 17mm WrightGrip is almost 9 inches and a Craftsman raised panel is 8.3 inches. And a Snap-On 6pt is almost 10 inches.

What about a Snap-On flank drive plus 12 point, 17mm, how long is one of those please someone?
