What should I do about this gap?

This is the gap between my garage slab and driveway. It has bothered me ever since we moved in to the house. It fills up with dirt and leaves and if I drop a nut or bolt or screw, it goes right into the gap (like a black hole). I’ve read about a flowable material to fill it with but what do I put underneath it? Sand? Backer Rod? Any suggestions are welcomed.

How deep is it? A gap that wide I'd fill with some cement or even pea gravel closer to the top. On top I'd use some backer rod then Sika or just the Sika onto of whatever you choose.to fill it up with.

A gap that wide and deep I'd not just use backer rod and Sika. I'd be afraid it'd get press down and start disappearing into that abyss over time without some additional support underneath.

Fill with sand, backer road then sikaflex. You want to use something on top that can flex with the movement of the driveway vs. the garage otherwise it will crack.

It’s 1” wide X 3” deep. Which sika product would work best? I’ve read enough to figure out that sika is the product to use.

I'd use their self leveling sealant. Good to about 1/2" thick and 1-1/2" wide. Allows movement and seals up edges pretty good to prevent water penetration. Their concrete fix is pretty good too, but is only good for a max 1" crack. If yours isn't any wider than what you pictured it would be fine. The concrete fix would likely weather better.
